Snickerdoodle Bread

This is a variation of a recipe from my grandmother-in-law! Sweet, cinnamony and tastes like the holidays!

Snickerdoodle Bread

Yield: 1 9×13-in. loaf

What You’ll Need:

  • 1/2 c. butter, room temperature
  • 1 c. of white sugar, plus a little more for topping
  • 2 tsp. of cinnamon, plus a little more for topping
  • 1/4 tsp. of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 c. of plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp. of vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 c. of flour
  • 1 tsp. of baking powder
  • Half of a 10 oz. bag of cinnamon chips

What You’ll Do:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and grease your bread pan.
  2. Cream together sugar, cinnamon and salt until fluffy.
  3. Add in eggs, Greek yogurt and vanilla, beating until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour and baking powder. Slowly add dry mixture into wet mixture, beating until well combined.
  5. Stir in cinnamon chips.
  6. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and sprinkle a bit of cinnamon and sugar over top.
  7. Bake at 350 for about 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean.
