I am by no means a vegetarian, but I do happen to enjoy a lot of vegetarian food. Cody just can’t understand why I eat tofu if I don’t “have to”–but the answer is simply because I like it!! I don’t think tofu tastes anything like meat, but that doesn’t mean I don’t think it tastes good (not to mention how good it is for you!) So although black bean burgers don’t taste anything like a real juicy burger, that doesn’t mean it’s not delicious in its own right. In fact, even Cody agreed that these burgers were pretty tasty!
Latin American food is definitely one of my guilty pleasures! Anyone who knows me knows that queso is one of my favorite foods (especially after I have a drink or two in me…!), and I love a good taco.
